"HOG'SPITALITY" COMES TO MAITLAND
HOG'S BREATH CAFE OPENS SEPTEMBER 18TH AT Cnr CHELMSFORD DRIVE & NEW ENGLAND HWY, METFORD
Hog's Breath Cafe has built its reputation of being the most successful restaurant group in Australia - by being different!
The first Hog's Breath Cafe opened in Airlie Beach, North Queensland in July 1989; today there are 65 outlets in Australia and 3 in New Zealand and the brand new Hog's Breath Cafe opening on Tuesday September 18th at Maitland becomes number 69.
The group is wholly Australian owned by its Australian management and franchisees and from its very first day, Hog's Breath committed itself to be unlike any other restaurant in appearance, atmosphere, style and type of service. It has created a distinctive style for people who enjoy its casual dining experience, providing quality food and beverage services in an informal yet comfortable environment with a friendly, party atmosphere - and just a touch of irreverence!
Hog's Breath can take credit for popularising its specialty - Prime Rib Steaks - from the best quality beef to guarantee consistency of taste and tenderness, slow cooked for up to 18 hours before being seared on the grill to seal in maximum flavour. The Menu also offers Appetisers, Snacks, Salads, Wraps and Sandwiches, Ribs, Seafood and a whole lot more!
Hog's Breath has achieved its success on a great product, and promoting to its market through sponsorships of the activities its customers follow, as major supporters of active sports and events such as the Wave Riding Nationals, Offshore Powerboat champions, Dutton Rally Series 2007 and Nationals 2007 Probikx Race Tour (a lead up to the inclusion in the 2008 Olympics of Bicycle Motocross) for the first time.
Plus ongoing involvement with V8 Supercars, SLSA, NRL, Rugby Union, Newcastle Jets, Canberra Raiders, Golf, Moto Cross, Drag Racing and Natalie Cook for Beach Volleyball - plus numerous junior sports. Such activities also generate much-needed financial support for several charities.
The Maitland Hog's Breath Cafe is owned and managed by Helen Grujevski who has built the Newcastle restaurant to be among the best in the state and is determined that Maitland will have one that is just as good - if not even better! Helen welcomes everyone to visit to personally experience the Hog's Breath philosophy of "have fun and enjoy yourself".
